March to May

The Sedona Yoga Festival has been helping in connecting people with their passion and potential in a three-day lively transformation. Thousands of tourists attend the festival to practice yoga, music and entertainment. A three-day mountain bike celebration, the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival host expos, bike demos, rides, food trucks and bands. The festival also boasts the killer singletrack in Sedona which has been featured in magazines and is a bucket list destination for people seeking a thrill. The Sedona Food Truck Festival attracts tourists annually to enjoy the beautiful weather, great food and amazing music. Trucks from around the state come to Sedona offering delicious food and beer.
June to August
Despite the heat and rain during these months, Sedona welcomes tourists to the city’s Photofest and Hummingbird Festival. With the assistance of the Sedona Arts Center, the photofest help spread educational programming in their presentations and workshops. The photofest features technical and artistic insights into portrait photography, underwater dogs, iphoneography and fashion photography. Seven workshops and four seminars are held at the center. Sedona has been known as the best place to catch a glimpse of hummingbirds. Tours and exhibits can be found during the Hummingbird Festival along with the three-day presentation at Sedona Performing Arts Center.
September to November
September-November is one of the most popular times to visit Sedona. Four festivals are held during these months making the trip memorable. A collaboration of musicians from Arizona’s performing arts organization and world-acclaimed artists, the Red Rocks music festival entertains audiences with amazing performances. The festival also motivates students through their outreach educational music programs. Enjoy delicious wine, food and music at the Sedona’s Winefest. The festival boasts local cuisine along with exciting raffle prizes, art exhibits and live music. Vendors also display goods and services like glass art and wine barrel furniture. Sedona Plein Air Festival showcase works of artists and paint-out events. Like the Plein Air Festival, the arts festival also hosts annual fine art exhibits that promote artists and their community.
December to February
The slow season in the city, Sedona International Film Festival has been warming up the winter nights of Sedona. The festival shows award-winning independent films from around the world and at the same time educate their audiences with behind the scenes and question and answer discussions with the filmmakers.
Though the city is booked with
events each season, Sedona is best visited during the months of March to May.
