“SEDONA SAFARI” Out of Africa Package
Out of Africa is a one-of-a-kind wildlife park located just 30 minutes southeast of the Southwest Inn at Sedona. Why travel 7,000 miles to Africa when Out of Africa brings the animals to you? You can ride their educational trolley, which runs continuously throughout the day, to view and photograph their great population of large cats (such as lions, white and yellow Bengal tigers, and leopards), hyenas and black bears from unobstructed photo platforms. In addition, the trolley can be enjoyed as a hop on, hop off experience allowing you to spend as much time as you like with these spectacular animals. You may want to plan your trip to allow a visit to the park on feeding day for the large cats. Follow the animal caretakers as they hurl 800 lbs. of raw food to anxiously waiting lions and tigers. Feeding times are Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3:00pm.Your deluxe pass also includes a not-to-be-missed 35-minute Serengeti driving tour which replicates an authentic African Photo Safari. Experience personal encounters with giraffe, zebra, ostriches, wildebeest and more on board a Mercedes Unimog driven by their expert guides. This safari has been called spectacular by adults and children alike. The highlight of a trip to Out of Africa is the thrill of hand feeding their loveable giraffes, Kibo and Pilgrim. PACKAGE RATES: The park is closed on Monday and Tuesdays except for major holidays – so please plan your hotel reservation accordingly.Please call for package rates. Additional adult deluxe passes to Out of Africa can be purchased from the Southwest Inn for $28/ticket; children’s deluxe passes may be purchased for $20/ticket. Additional nights can also be added to your stay so you can enjoy all the other attractions Sedona has to offer! (ask for rates).
